HumanMap editorial policy
The HumanMap editorial team publishes practical guidance for HR, People Ops, and teams responsible for organizational information.
Who writes and maintains the content?
HumanMap editorial team content combines product experience, workflow research, and practical guidance from building org chart software for People teams. We identify the intended reader and the decision or task an article should help them complete before publishing it.
Product-specific articles are written and maintained by the HumanMap team. We do not present company experience as an independent customer study, and we label customer-reported outcomes as reported rather than universal results.
How sources and product claims are handled
General guidance is separated from claims about a vendor, plan, integration, price, or product behavior. Comparisons link to vendor or other primary documentation where available and explain what still needs to be verified in a current plan, trial, or demo.
Pricing, integrations, security, access rules, and platform capabilities can change. Articles covering those topics include a visible date or review note when the information is time-sensitive. Readers should confirm current terms before making a purchasing decision.
Updates and corrections
We use the original publication date and an updated date when a page receives a meaningful editorial or factual revision. We do not change dates simply to make an article look fresh. If you find an incorrect product detail, broken source, unclear qualification, or outdated recommendation, contact [email protected] with the article URL and the relevant evidence.
Editorial boundaries
- Practical advice is not legal, security, HR, or procurement advice.
- Customer examples and reported outcomes are not guarantees.
- Vendor comparisons are decision aids, not endorsements.
- Search keywords do not determine what we publish; reader usefulness and a clear task come first.
